Around S$20,000 pm (commensurate with experience)
This new position is based in Singapore and reports to the VP who is based in USA. The responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of customer specific business plans, including managing and providing support for customer programs from initiation through delivery.
Analyze and understand customer strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities.
Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business.
Manage programs from initiation through delivery, constantly interfacing with the customer and company resources on technical and business issues.
Establish, communicate, and hold direct and matrix team accountable for contract terms, program budgets, schedules, operational objectives, and performance metrics that drive profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Oversee new product introductions and provide coordination between customer launch teams and manufacturing site build teams.
Collaborate with account management, supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to implement creative, cutting edge solutions to solve complex supply chain problems.
Implement strategic initiatives across manufacturing sites, external partners, and customers.
Facilitate communication among all parties to manage vital relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews.
Work across functions on complex and/or critical matters to influence fair outcomes and deployment of project resources toward activities that have strategic or tactical importance to Client and its customers.
Lead multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
Make sound decisions that impact the overall profitability of segment operations.
Represent and provide market exposure for Client at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in business management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline;
An MBA degree is preferred.
Seven plus years of progressive experience in global account or program management roles; electronics contract manufacturing and semiconductor industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations functions.
Dynamic builder of relationships with customers and operations, with track record of identifying new areas of opportunity and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit.
Experience managing complex and multiple programs, projects, customers, and sites, including transferring programs to low-cost regions and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment.
An effective communicator with customers, suppliers, executives, peers, and subordinates.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
English fluency is a must. Multiple language capabilities are a plus.
