Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will will have the opportunity to work in different medical disciplines and be exposed to different areas in occupational therapy, be it orthopedic, neuro/neurosurgical, hands, mental health or pediatrics.
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team looking after the health of patients. Besides clinical opportunities,they will play a part in clinical education and research development in the area of occupational therapy.

 Requirements:
    * Recognized degree / diploma in Occupational Therapy with minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
    * Should be Competent in IT skills

• Includes working in Hosipital and School, supporting administrative aspects of the medical trial.
• To work with the research team on the medical trial and carry out initial assessment and reviews on patients allocated under his/her care .
• To establish appropriate short-term and long-term goals and care plans for each individual patient.
• To involve in multi-disciplinary (MDM) for discussion of patients’ care plan and discharge planning.   
• To plan and execute appropriate safe rehabilitation treatment for patients allocated under his/her care.
• To attend departmental, team & hospital level meetings, talks and conferences as advised.
• To report to and update designated team leader on any issues of pertaining patients
• To facilitate communication between hospital staff within department and inter-department through clear and updated documentation of information on relevant patient case notes and rehabilitation folders.

 
Basic Requirements:

• Should be qualified occupational therapist.
• Should have a Degree in Health Science or equivalent.
• Should have least 5 yrs of working experience in a hospital in the related area.
